2026 ISLAND Seminar - Launceston
Description
Join the below members of the ISLAND project team to hear about our recent research. The presentation will run from 1.00-2.00pm, including opportunity to ask questions at the end, with light refreshments provided from 2.00-2.30pm.
Dr Eddy Roccati will provide the latest updates from the ISLAND project, as well as some emerging results from our novel INSIGHT study.
Samantha Bramich will present work being undertaken through the ISLAND Sleep Study, investigating new ways to detect early symptoms of neurodegenerative disease and isolated REM sleep behaviour disorder (iRBD) in Tasmania.
Dr Hannah Fair will discuss socialising for dementia risk reduction, and how it might look different for different people. She will invite you to help the team understand this better through the new ISLAND Networks study.
