2026 Korea Wellington Business Breakfast
Description
Mark 10 years since the formal city-to-city partnership between Wellington and its sister city Seoul, with Korean and New Zealand business leaders, officials and organisations over a Korean-inspired breakfast.
Description:
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Wellington City Council and the Korea New Zealand Business Council (KNZBC) are pleased to invite you to the 2026 Korea Wellington Business Breakfast.
Seoul is Wellington’s sister city, and this year marks 10 years since the formal city-to-city partnership was established during an official mayoral visit, further strengthening the relationship between our two cities. The breakfast brings together Korean and New Zealand businesses, organisations and officials to explore the opportunities shaping the relationship between our two countries, from trade and investment to primary industries, infrastructure and the creative sector.
Held in Te Akapuanga o Waimānga, the Māori whare within the Wellington City Council building, the morning will open with a karakia and mihimihi. This is followed by remarks from Wellington City Council and the Korean Ambassador, a keynote address from Deer Industry New Zealand, and a panel discussion with business leaders sharing practical experiences of working with Korea, including Q&A.
Guests will enjoy a breakfast with a Korean twist alongside tea and coffee.
This is a great opportunity to connect with others who share an interest in the continued growth of the New Zealand–Korea relationship. We look forward to welcoming you.
