The Maryland Association for Adult, Community and Continuing Education is a non-profit organization providing leadership in Maryland for those interested in advancing education as a lifelong process. MAACCE provides a central forum for a wide variety of adult, community and continuing education groups. Our annual conference convenes adult educators, learners, and support staff from across the state of Maryland, to discuss best practices learned in the field of adult education.

MAACCE encourages organizations and agencies in Maryland to cooperate in a broad spectrum of educational programs and activities in support of the lifelong learning concept. Our annual conference is primarily a professional development event with activities that focus on the program elements, trends, and challenges that make our field unique such as:

Instructional Techniques for Adult Learners
Student Intake & Assessment
Staff Development
Program Innovations
Workforce Development
Adult Literacy
Correctional Education
English for Speakers of Other Languages
Family literacy
National External Diploma Program
Immigrants & Refugee Programming
Online & Distance Learning

Note, MAACCE understands that all adult education organizations have been hit hard by uncertainty in federal funding.

Note, we cannot issue invoices or process refund requests after May 6, 2026. Please make these requests prior to this date.
