Mandorla is a contemporary fine art award. In conversation with a biblical text, Mandorla invites artists to contribute to the cultural life of Australia.

Open to all artists across Australia and held every two years in Perth, Western Australia, the Mandorla Art Award is Australia’s most significant thematic Christian art prize and continues to attract some of our country’s most accomplished artists.

For this award year, artists had the opportunity to respond to the theme of What is Truth? “I was afraid, because I was naked: and I hid myself” – Genesis 3:10.

We are excited to showcase more than 40 works that have been selected by our expert panel of judges from a record number of entries. Discover 'What is Truth?' as told through the paintbrushes, hands and digital creations of Australia's artists.

  • Do I need to book/register to attend this exhibition?

    Booking is not required to attend the exhibition.

    However, registering assists Mandorla with the planning and running of the exhibition and allows us to communicate with you regarding the event - including the announcement of when artist talks will take place and the winner of the People's Choice Award.

  • What is the cost of entry?

    Entry to this exhibition is entirely free.

  • When is the Holmes à Court Gallery @ no.10 open?

    The Holmes à Court Gallery @ no.10 opening hours are:

    • Wednesday to Friday 11am - 5pm

    • Saturday 12pm - 4pm

  • Will art works be available to purchase?

    The work that wins the major prize is acquired by the Mandorla Art Award and will not be available for sale. All other finalist works will be available to purchase through a physical QR code that directs buyers to the Mandorla website.

    This is a fantastic way to support the artists of the Mandorla Art Award with the majority of the funds going to the creator of the work.

  • How do I vote for the People's Choice Award?

    Votes for the People's Choice Award can be made in-person at the gallery during opening hours. Speak to any volunteers or Committee Members present about how to vote for this popular award.

  • How can I support the Mandorla Art Award?

    Mandorla Art Award, administered by The Mandorla Centre of Inner Peace Inc., relies on the generosity of its supporters to operate. As well as sponsors, donors and patrons, we accept one-off donations with all donations over $2 tax deductible. The Mandorla Centre of Inner Peace Inc. is a tax deductible fund listed on the Register of Cultural Organisations under Subdivision 30-B of the Australian Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.
