Join us for a one-of-a-kind evening celebrating 150 years of LOCAL + FRESH + AUTHENTIC at North Market Downtown.
The 150 Year Celebration is our signature Apron Gala with a special anniversary spin - a lively, chef-driven food experience that brings the market to life after hours. Guests will stroll through the historic market, enjoying exclusive bites and sips from our best-in-class merchants, live entertainment, and the unmistakable energy that has made North Market Columbus’ gathering place for nearly 150 years.
This milestone evening is our way of saying thank you to the community that has supported North Market for 150 years and to the independent merchants whose creativity, grit, and passion continue to shape our culture every day.
Proceeds from the 150 Year Celebration support North Market Downtown’s nonprofit mission to preserve and strengthen this community asset by nurturing local entrepreneurship, championing independent businesses, and ensuring fresh, abundant food and meaningful experiences remain accessible to all.

- Where can I park for this event?
North Market Downtown parking is now located in the Vine Street garage. We strongly encourage guests to consider rideshare options for this event.
- Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, it is not necessary to bring a paper ticket to this event. If you do not bring a paper ticket, please make sure to have your digital ticket ready on your mobile device. Guests that do not have a digital or paper ticket ready can still be checked in by Market Staff. However, it is more efficient if you provide a paper or digital ticket.

The 150 Year Celebration is our signature Apron Gala with a special anniversary spin! It is biggest fundraiser of the year for the North Market Development Authority, the non-profit organization that operates Columbus' historic public market. Money raised at the 150 Year Celebration sustains this unique community asset, helps maintain the historic 100-year-old building, furthers the mission of making fresh, local food more accessible, and supports the small business owners who get their start and grow their businesses as merchants in North Market.
- What about food?
The Apron Gala is the best local food celebration of the year! North Market Downtown merchants prepare unique, off-menu dishes exclusively for this event, served throughout the evening. Ticket prices include fine wine and beer. VIP ticket prices include fine wine and beer along with a specialty cocktail.
- What about entertainment?
Entertainment includes live music, caricature artists, tarot reading, and more!
- What is the dress code?
Guests should dress to have a great time at the high-energy event. Aprons are optional, dressy casual is encouraged, but comfortable shoes are a must.
