2026 Orana Youth Forum

WHAT IS THE ORANA YOUTH FORUM?

The 2026 Orana Youth Forum aims to highlight employment opportunities and address the unique challenges faced by young people in today’s competitive job market.

It is an opportunity for students within the region to hear from businesses, industry leaders, universities and training providers about jobs for the future, and how the next generation will be building our region.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This forum is designed for students in years 9, 10, 11 and 12.

However, any high school student interested in gaining employment information is welcome to attend.

Teachers, parents and supervisors are also welcome.

WHAT CAN STUDENTS EXPECT?

The Forum will showcase keynote speakers, seminars and hands-on workshops that will educate and inspire the students.

It will host exhibits from a cross-section of regional employers, vocational, apprenticeship and trainee providers, industry representation, tertiary institutions and STEM organisations.

An outdoor exhibition area will provide students with hands-on opportunities to explore machinery and technology used across a range of industries, helping to engage and inspire the next generation workforce.
