Inspiring Girls Careers Forum – Regional WA 2026

The CME is excited to bring the Inspiring Girls Careers Forum to regional Western Australia again in 2026.

This unique event showcases the resources sector to female Year 6 to Year 8 students, helping discover the diverse range of roles and skills that can take them there.

What students will experience

• Hear from an inspiring female industry guest speaker
• Take part in fun, hands‑on STEM and team building activities
• Participate in a fast‑paced speed‑careering session
• Meet and interact with local resources representatives

Student benefits

By attending, students will:
• Learn about the broad pathways taken by representatives in the resources sector
• Understand the opportunities available for women working in the industry
• Gain inspiration to explore new subjects and future career options
• Build connections with local companies and professionals

Event details

The Inspiring Girls initiative is coordinated by CME and supported by WA resources sector organisations.
Attendance is free for students and teachers.

Each table will host 6 students, 1 teacher, and 1-2 industry representatives.
Due to high demand, additional tables will be made available once local schools have had the chance to secure an initial booking.
