Genomics our way: The potential of Aboriginal precision medicine

We are pleased to announce that Australian Alliance for Indigenous Genomics is partnering with the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute and the AH&MRC of NSW to host the Genomics Our Way Symposium: The Potential of Aboriginal Precision Medicine.

The symposium will bring together Aboriginal healthcare providers, researchers, community leaders, and partners to explore the future of Aboriginal-led precision medicine research in New South Wales. Day 1 will focus on the health conditions that have been identified community priorities exploring both the current precision medicine research for this condition, and what is needed in the future. This will be followed by day 2 which will focus on culturally-safe and secure research methods for working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

This is a in-person event only (no online option will be available).
