Join us at the 10th anniversary of the Ravenswood Australian Women's Art Prize Opening Night (proudly presented by Taylor) where we celebrate a decade of showcasing the talent of Australia's finest women artists. Immerse yourself in the artworks of all our 2026 Art Prize finalists, be part of the excitement as we announce our winners, meet our judges and some of the talented artists, and be the first to purchase artworks which go on sale following the announcement of winners.
Your ticket price includes exhibition entry and a blend of art and a gastronomic reflection of Trippas White Group (TWG)featuring native ingredients and local producers with each dish reflecting the richness of our land and the communities we serve. Complementing this will be a selection of wines from TWG's 'Women in Wine' collection.
Guests will also be invited to submit their vote for the Peoples' Choice Award.
The Ravenswood Australian Women's Art Prize is an annual acquisitive prize that was launched in 2017 to advance art and opportunity for emerging and established women artists in Australia. It is the highest value professional artist prize for women in Australia.
Professional Artist Prize - $35,000
Emerging Artist Prize - $7,500
Indigenous Emerging Artist Prize - $7,500
Peoples’ Choice Award of $2,000 plus a $500 art pack
Highly Commended Awards 6 x $1,000
Artists are asked to enter an artwork that best reflects their art practice - there is no theme. Artwork judging is overseen by a panel of esteemed judges led by Ravenswood Australian Women's Art Prize Patron and acclaimed artist, Jade Oakley.
Please note there will be a photographer and videography at this event, if you do not wish to have your photo taken and published, please approach an event staff member at the Registration Desk upon arrival.
Following the Opening Night the Exhibition will be open from 16 to 31 May 2026, free entry.
