Ronald McDonald House Charities – Heart of the North Gala.
Join us for our North Australia Gala, a spectacular evening celebrating the strength and spirit of the Heart of the North while supporting our mission to ease the burden families face during medical treatment by providing a comforting, safe space to call home.
This year’s event is our biggest fundraiser, helping provide vital accommodation and support to families with seriously ill children across Northern Australia. We remain committed to ensuring no family faces the journey of a child’s illness alone.
With your support, we aim to fund 365 nights for families to stay close to their children. Every contribution helps keep the heartbeat of care strong for families who need it most.

- What is included in my ticket?
Your ticket includes a three course dinner, 5 hour beverage package, entertainment, access to live and silent auctions, raffles and more
- Are there accommodation options nearby?
Yes, recommended options include Ardo and The Ville Resort-Casino, both within close proximity to the venue.
- Is parking available at the Venue?
Yes, parking is available at Townsville Entertainment and Convention Centre, however spaces are limited. We recommend arriving early or cosidering rideshare/taxi services.
- What is the dress code?
This is a Red Tie Event - formal attire with a touch of red.
- Who do I contact for ticketing or event enquiries?

- Can we access Silent Auction items before the night?
Yes, we will provide early registration to Galabid for all silent auction items approx 1 week prior to the event.
- Will the money I spend stay local?
All money raised on the night stays local to support families of sick and injured children. This support is vital in ensuring we can help families from Townsville and across the region through our Ronald Mcdonald House, learning programs and family rooms.
- Can I pay with cash or EFTPOS on the night?
Yes, EFTPOS will be available for auction items and donations. Cash payments are limited and we encourage guests to use EFTPOS or GalaBid for a smoother experience.
