2026 Salesian College Chadstone MCG Business Lunch
Description
Potential is not unlocked by talent alone. It grows when people feel known, supported and challenged by those who genuinely believe in what they can become.
At Salesian College Chadstone, this belief sits at the heart of who we are. Inspired by the philosophy of Don Bosco, we seek to create the conditions in which every young person can thrive. It is this shared belief that has shaped the theme of our 2026 MCG Business Lunch: Unlock Potential.
Every young person matters. Every person can grow. Great leadership unlocks potential.

We are honoured to welcome Dean Boxall as the keynote speaker for our 2026 MCG Business Lunch.
Dean is one of Australia’s most respected swimming coaches, known not only for his extraordinary energy and passion, but for the deep belief he places in the people he leads. Behind every performance is a relationship built on trust, honesty, care and the confidence that there is always more within someone waiting to be discovered.
His approach to high performance is about far more than results. It is about understanding people, creating an environment where they feel supported, and giving them the courage to keep growing through pressure, setbacks and success.
Dean’s story reflects the heart of this year’s theme. Great leaders do not simply tell people what to do. They see possibility in others, often before those people can see it in themselves. They create the conditions for confidence to grow, resilience to strengthen and potential to become something real.
The 2026 MCG Business Lunch brings together business leaders, alumni, partners, supporters and members of the wider Salesian community for an afternoon of connection, inspiration and shared purpose.
Together, we will celebrate the people and places that help others thrive, from the Mannix Learning Precinct and our commitment to being an employer of choice, to Dean Boxall’s insights into leadership and high performance.
Because when people are genuinely known, encouraged and believed in, extraordinary things can happen.
