Welcome and thank you for joining Strathfield Council's 2026 Bushcare Program!

Bushcare is a fantastic way to meet like‑minded people in your local area, enjoy a lovely morning tea, and learn about the unique plants and animals found throughout the Strathfield LGA. Participation is free and open to all ages, and the program is completely flexible—you’re welcome to join every month or simply whenever you’re available. All you need to do is register your spot for your sessions.

Before you register:

You will only be able to select one session at a time. If you would like to attend more than one session, please complete your registration for one session before proceeding with the next. This helps us accurately manage volunteer numbers and allocate staff appropriately. Children under 16 will require an adult to attend the session with them.

A reminder will be sent to registered volunteers a few days before each Bushcare session, including any updates or cancellations due to unforeseen weather conditions. Please check your inbox prior to the event date for updates.

Please wear sunscreen and bring sun-safe clothing (a hat and long sleeves), closed‑toe shoes, and a water bottle.
