The Student Leaders' Gala 2026, in partnership with BUPA brings together the remarkable students who have made an impact across Western Sydney University through clubs, volunteering, advocacy, peer programs, sport and student leadership.
This is more than an awards night! It is a celebration of the stories, cultures, friendships and achievements that make our student community extraordinary.
Make it your night to celebrate everything you've achieved alongside the people who made it happen.
The theme is Fashion & Art and your ticket includes:
Drag Bingo hosted by the amazing Dakota from renowned Syd Showgirls! Live Redbull DJ, sunset drinks and canapes, red carpet photo opportunities, dinner and drinks service…and awards!

- What if I cannot afford a ticket but want to attend?
If you are experiencing financial hardship and would like to attend this gala, please contact StudentClubs@westernsydney.edu.au to explore options for attending this event.
- Do I need to win an award to be able to attend?
Not at all. All students are celebrated at the gala, and many award winners are not announced until the night itself.
- Is the venue accessible?

- Is there parking?
Yes, the Western Sydney Convention Centre has plenty of parking around the venue and the panthers club.
- Can I use public transport?
The closest train station to the Western Sydney Convention Centre is Penrith Station, where buses are available and frequent. If you are planning to walk please do so carefully, it will be a 20-25 minute walk.
- Will there be alcohol at the Gala?
Alcohol will be available at the Student Leaders' Gala, as well as a selection of soft drinks, juices, and sparkling apple juice.
Alcohol consumption will be monitored and signs of intoxication you will be asked to leave the event. Under 18s will not be permitted alcohol.
- What if I am unable to attend the Gala but have purchased a ticket?
Your ticket is refundable up to 7 days before the Gala (6pm November 13th). In the case of emergency or unforeseen circumstance a refund may be considered but not guaranteed.
- What happens if they receive an award at the Gala but no one from their group is available to accept it?
A staff member will accept the award on their behalf and that we'll hold the award and any accompanying items for collection from building EF, Parramatta South Campus.
