Description

We are pleased to announce our second annual symposium, taking place 8–10 July 2026.

This year’s program features a keynote address by Prof. Natalie Sims (St Vincent’s Institute; University of Melbourne), alongside invited presentations from Dr. Ross Graham (Curtin University) and A/Prof. Thomas Rodeman (University of Tasmania).

The 2026 theme highlights innovation in materials, environmental, and life science research through advanced vibrational spectroscopy.

On Day 3, attendees are invited to join a workshop led by Dr. Benedikt Hufnagl, CEO of Hufnagl Chemometrics GmbH and Co‑Founder/CTO of Purency. He will be talking about  MicroparticlesAI, a new software platform designed for automated microplastic analysis and the next evolution beyond the Microplastics Finder (MPF).

Please find our symposium website here with additional speaker abstract and details.

A draft program will launch in the coming weeks. Join our mailing list to stay informed as new details are announced!
