2026 TechDiversity Awards

TechDiversity Awards 2026 moves to Sydney with momentum, purpose, and urgency.

Eleven years ago, TechDiversity set out to prove something: that Australia’s tech workforce could be stronger, smarter, and more innovative if we stopped overlooking diverse talent.

A decade later, our community has celebrated hundreds of initiatives:

• from neurodiversity programs to First Nations coding academies,

• from women’s pre-accelerators to AI accessibility tools.

And now, as Australia stares down a tech workforce crisis, 31,000 jobs lost, 1.2 million needed, that proof has never mattered more. This is where the leaders building Australia’s workforce come together.

2026 theme

The 2026 Awards will carry the theme ‘Influence Redefined, Power in Every Voice’, recognising that leadership isn’t about who has the loudest voice, but who creates space for every voice to be heard, valued, and acted upon.
