2026 The Birds in Your Forest Winter Workshop
Description
Learn about the birds that call your forest home
If managing for wildlife is one of your main objectives as a forest landowner, this workshop is a great opportunity for you. Learn from experts about some of the birds that call your forests home, what niches they occupy within the forest, what they need to survive, and how you, a small forest landowner, can manage your forestland to benefit your local feathered friends.
In addition to the lecture portion of the workshop, we will also be building wooden nesting boxes! All of the materials needed to build the nesting boxes will be provided to you at the workshop. Be ready to use your hands!
