The Reimagined Workplace: A 5-Part Series (Delivered via Zoom)

Creating a thriving workplace is a shared effort. The Reimagined Workplace 5-part series equips managers, supervisors, HR professionals, and employees alike with practical strategies to navigate today’s complex work environment, strengthen collaboration, and foster a culture of trust, clarity, and accountability.

Across five interactive sessions, led by Hanif Fazal, Co-Founder of The Center, participants will dive into the essential dimensions of today’s workplace culture—accountability, communication, collaboration, equity, and leadership. Each session delivers practical tools, frameworks, and strategies that can be applied immediately, empowering both teams and individuals to work more effectively, strengthen relationships, and contribute confidently to a thriving workplace.

SHRM PDCs

Participants who complete both sessions will earn a total of 15 Professional Development Credits (PDCs) from SHRM. Upon completion, attendees will receive a certificate of completion. The Reimagined Workplace sessions will be held from 9:30-12:00 PST on January 28th, February 12th, March 5th, March 26th, and April 16th.


Session 1: Accountability Part I: Reframing Accountability - From Punishment to Performance
Date: January 28th (9:30 am-12:30 pm PDT)

  • Learn how to shift accountability from being a tool for punishment to a tool for growth and success.

  • Equip employees with the skills to take ownership and hold others accountable in a constructive, empowering way.

  • Build trust and foster open communication to support a culture of accountability.


Session 2: Accountability Part II: Applying Accountability - Case Studies & Practical Strategies
Date: February 12th (9:30 am-12:30 pm PDT)

  • Dive into real-world case studies to see how accountability works in practice.

  • Understand how to navigate accountability across different work styles, cultures, and backgrounds.

  • Learn and apply practical strategies to build a culture of accountability within your organization.


Session 3: Building a Strong Feedback Culture - Strategies for Growth and Engagement (3 PDCs)

Date: March 5th (9:30 am-12:30 pm PDT)

  • Learn practical frameworks and processes for giving and receiving feedback effectively.

  • Create a safe and supportive environment where feedback is encouraged at all levels.

  • Understand the positive impact of a feedback-driven culture on performance, trust, and team success.


Session 4: Effective Supervision - Strategies for Thriving Employees (3 PDCs)

Date: March 26th (9:30 am-12:30 pm PDT)

  • Leverage culturally responsive supervision to strengthen engagement, trust, and retention.

  • Actionable strategies to create a supervisory approach that drives individual and organizational success.

  • Recognize and address biases that impact supervision and workplace performance.


Session 5: Equitable AI in the Workplace: How to Use Gemini (and Other Tools) with Care, Intention, and Impact (3 PDCs)

Date: April 16th (9:30 am – 11:30 am PDT)

By the end of this training, participants will:

  • Understand what AI (like Gemini) is and how it intersects with equity-centered work

  • Recognize the risks of bias, erasure, and harm when AI is used without an equity lens

  • Learn ethical and equity-centered practices for prompting and evaluating AI-generated content

  • Practice hands-on strategies to integrate AI tools into work responsibly
