Description

“Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him…” – Matthew 5:1

You’re invited to At His Feet, a one-day gathering for women across New York City and beyond.

In a world full of noise, distraction, and competing voices, this day is designed to draw us back to the voice of Jesus. Together, we'll sit at His feet, learn from His words, and be encouraged to follow Him more faithfully in our homes, churches, workplaces, and city.

Invitation to Pray: A Heart Drawn to God What if prayer is more than something we are supposed to do? What if it is God’s invitation to know Him, draw near to Him, and experience His transforming presence? Together, we’ll explore how God has pursued relationships with His people throughout Scripture, how Christ has opened the way for us to come boldly into God’s presence, and how the Holy Spirit helps us pray—even when we don’t know what to say. We’ll honestly consider what keeps us from prayer, discover the beauty of praying Scripture, and learn how intimacy with God transforms our hearts. Come discover how prayer can move from obligation to affection—from “I should pray” to “I want to be with God.”

God as Our Father We know that God is our Father and even address Him as such, but what does that really mean? Who is this Father, this invisible Spirit and great God who calls us, not just servants, but His very own children? In this session, we will go to the Scriptures to explore and discover, not just His identity, but what He’s like, what He thinks about you, and how that not only changes what you do, but transforms who you are. Whether you confidently rejoice in knowing God as your Father, whether the idea of this level of intimacy with God makes you feel a little uneasy, uncomfortable, unsafe, or unworthy, or whether you’re not even sure that God is your Father, let’s take some time to gaze upon Him together, and to see ourselves through His eyes.

Lead Like Christ The world has much to say about what makes a strong leader, but what does Jesus show us? Whether you lead in your church, workplace, home, community, or simply through the influence you have in the lives of others, the way we lead matters. Jesus' life offers us a powerful example of leadership rooted not in position or recognition, but in character. Drawing inspiration from the life and teachings of Christ, we will explore how humility, integrity, courage, compassion, and service can shape the way we influence and care for others. Come ready to reflect on your own influence and explore what it means to lead with confidence while becoming more like Christ.
