2026 Year 12 Mother & Son Lunch

Head of College, Mr Michael Newman invites Year 12 Mothers and their Sons to the annual Mother & Son Lunch with special guest Samantha Heathwood.

Time & Location: The event will be held at the InterContinental Brisbane Grand Ballroom at 11:30am on Monday, 22 June 2026.

Tickets are $120 per person and include a two-course lunch and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages will be available for Mothers to purchase. Students, regardless of their age will not be able to consume alcohol at the event.

Guests will be seated at tables of 10. When purchasing tickets, please select the number of tickets you wish to purchase, then proceed to the seating plan to choose your seats. Guests can select their preferred table and seats by clicking on the individual seats displayed on the seating map. A search function is also available in the top left-hand corner, allowing you to see which tables already have guests seated and choose a table with friends or others you may wish to sit with.

Dress Code: Business Casual (students to wear full College winter uniform)

Transport: Students are to attend school in the morning. A bus will be provided for the boys from the College to the InterContinental Brisbane. Students are to depart the lunch with their Mothers at the conclusion of the event.

Bookings close at 10:00am Monday, 8 June 2026. 

Slideshow: We will be creating a special slideshow featuring photos of mothers and their sons. Please keep an eye out for an upcoming app notice, which will include instructions on how to submit your photos.
