2027 Advanced Placement (AP) exams at The King's School
Description
At The King's School, we are proud to be one of the few schools in Australia offering AP examinations for both our own King's students and external students from the wider community.
AP examinations are a valuable opportunity for students to showcase their academic capabilities and time management skills. By performing well on the AP examinations, students can not only gain admission to their preferred colleges but also potentially earn credit or placement for introductory college courses as the content is equivalent. These examinations are held annually and can set applications apart by demonstrating a commitment to academic excellence.
AP examinations are conducted at The King’s School host location, aligned with the US College Board calendared schedule. Due to global timetable updates made by the College Board, AP examination start times for 2027 have shifted to 11.00am. Please note that students will need to arrive at 10.30am for an 11.00am start. Due to these scheduling adjustments, The King’s School will not be offering the full suite of AP examinations.
The AP examination testing window runs from 3 May to 21 May 2027 (inclusive of the late testing window). Registration is open to both King's students and external students.
Pricing and Policy Details
AP Examination Fee
$650 per AP examination. Students wishing to complete multiple AP examinations must purchase a ticket for each AP examination.
Ticket Sales Close
Strictly on Sunday, 7 February 2027.
Refund Policy
Any refund requested on or before Sunday, 7 March 2027 will incur a $100 processing fee to cover non-refundable College Board administration costs. Refunds will not be provided for any requests submitted on or after Monday, 8 March 2027.
Post Registration
Once sales have closed, you will receive an email with further instructions and class codes.
