Life brings storms that test our faith, challenge our leadership, and push us beyond our comfort zones. As men, we are called to lead our families, serve our churches, and live out our faith with courage and conviction, even when the winds are strong.
Join us for DERECHO, a men’s conference focused on equipping men to stand firm in God’s Word, lead with integrity, and trust Christ through every storm life brings. Through biblical teaching, encouragement, and fellowship with other men, we’ll be challenged to become the leaders God has called us to be, no matter what comes our way.

Lineup
Casey Bradford
Casey is the Lead Pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church, in High Point, NC. Casey’s passion is to see lives genuinely changed from the inside out. He has an amazing gift of communicating God’s truth clearly, and challenging us to apply it to our lives. Casey is a great example of servant leadership, which Christ displayed, and commanded of us. He is our Main Session Speaker this year.
Eric Schumacher
Eric Schumacher and his wife Jenny are the proud parents of five children and a daughter-in-law. Eric is the Pastoral Ministry Director of the Baptist Convention of Iowa and a biblical counselor at Gospel Care Collective. Eric is also the author of several books, including Ours: Biblical Comfort for Men Grieving Miscarriage, and has written many worship songs at Hymnicity. Eric enjoys long walks outdoors, live music, and pheasant hunting. His favorite musician is Johnny Cash. He is leading a breakout about Remaining Faithful When God’s Hand is Hidden.
CJ McMurry
He is leading a breakout on Addiction.
Andy Rich
Andy Rich and his wife, Dee, have called Cornerstone home for over 23 years. They have four adult children and four grandchildren with one on the way. Andy became a follower of Jesus in his early twenties. After serving 22 years in juvenile corrections and later driving semi for Hy-Vee, God called him into bi-vocational ministry in 2024. In March 2025, he transitioned into full-time ministry as Cornerstone’s NextGen Pastor. Andy is passionate about investing in the next generation, sharing the Gospel and teaching others to share the Gospel, spending time with family, and raising unusual animals on their farm near Chariton. He is leading a breakout with a youth emphasis.
