FAQs

  • Is there a minimum ability level to attend the camp?

Gymnasts of all ages and abilities are able to participate in the camp, with skill sessions designed to cater for a wide range of abilities. When you register make sure you select your ability level so we can get you in the right groups.

  • How Do I know which Ability Level to select?

  • Do I need to bring food and drinks with me to the camp?

Yes you will need to bring lunch and healthy snacks for each day of the camp. this will ensure you have the energy to get the most out of your training sessions. Make sure you bring a water bottle as well to stay hydrated - Don't worry, you will be able to refill it if you run out.

  • Can I buy lunch at the PCYC?

Yes you can. The Club will have an event specific menu for each day of the camp, allowing parents to pre-order lunch for gymnasts on the day. The lunch will be prepared at the club and ready for the Training session lunch breaks.

We will send out more information about what's on the menu closer to the event.

You can also purchase a range of drinks from the canteen onsite.

  • What should I bring or wear for the camp?

Come with clothes suitable for training gymnastics. Leotards, shorts, singlets are all OK. Make sure they are not baggy clothes, as this may make it difficult for you to participate in all the activities. Make sure you wear shoes and warmer clothes if it's a little cooler - that way you have something to put on after you finish training. You wont need extra toys or games to fill your time, so you can leave your devices and other non-essential personal belongings at home.

  • How do I buy a TeamGym Camp Shirt?

EARLY BIRD Tickets include a 2027 event training t-shirt for FREE. Just make sure you include your T-Shirt size in the order form when you are asked. There may be a small quantity of Training shirts available on the day at the camp if you wish to purchase it on the day. It will be limited sizes and quantities.
