RADICAL RADIANCE IS HERE

March with Coastal Twist at Sydney Mardi Gras

Birds of a Feather, Flock Together is our float this year and it celebrates the extraordinary diversity within LGBTQIA+ communities and the strength we find in standing together.

Our flock embraces different sexualities, genders, cultures, abilities, ages and lived experiences, united not by sameness but by belonging.

Inspired by the colour, freedom and collective spirit of native Australian birds, Coastal Twist invites everyone to spread their wings, take up space and flourish. In a world where exclusion and gatekeeping can divide us, our message is joyful and defiant:

every identity matters, every difference adds colour, and everyone deserves a place in the flock.
