2027 Trip 1 - Women Only Mäpuru East Arnhem Land Weaving Workshops 16 - 27 June

At CERES, we have the privilege of leading groups along the dusty Arnhem Highway to the small homeland community of Mäpuru. Our Yolngu friends and adopted family, with whom we’ve shared a 15-year + partnership, welcome us onto their land and into their community.

These journeys support this community in sustaining a meaningful livelihood on Country. In return, they teach us what it means to live in deep relationship with the land, how to weave pandanus baskets, how water carries the story of life through its fibres, and how to see the world through a renewed, grounded perspective.
