This January, students in Years 7–12 (2027) will have a rare opportunity to learn alongside five Harvard University undergraduates from The Harvard Crimson—here in Sydney.

Students will develop their writing, public speaking, debating and leadership, create original work and receive individual feedback—building experience they can carry into future competitions, school leadership and university goals.

Program Highlights & Exclusive Student Opportunities:

  • Build writing, public speaking, debating and leadership skills.

  • Create original work for publication in the official Festival Journal.

  • Receive a dedicated 20-minute individual feedback session.

  • Leave with a 90-day personal development plan.

  • Present student work at the final showcase.

  • Be considered for selective publication in The Harvard Crimson.

The Festival will conclude with the Youth Leadership Forum, Showcase & Awards on 23 January 2027, held at Lower Town Hall in the Sydney CBD, where students will have the opportunity to present their speeches, writing, debates, journalism and changemaker projects to families, schools and invited guests.
