Brisbane Greeters: 21st Century Brisbane

With Brisbane counting down to the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the city is changing fast — and this tour puts those changes in focus.

Hosted by Brisbane Greeters, a program of passionate local volunteers who have shared their knowledge of Brisbane with more than 80,000 people since 2012, this walking tour explores the city's transformation since 2000. From new public buildings and bold public artworks to modern laneways, hidden gems, and major projects currently under construction, it traces how Brisbane is evolving into a city ready for the world stage.

Highlights include the Indigo Hotel, Law Precinct, Brisbane Square and Queens Wharf, among others. Whether you are a lifelong local or a first-time visitor, this is a fresh way to see a familiar city through knowledgeable eyes.
