Best Smartphone Apps
Event description
Whether you want to check bus timetables, restaurant menus and reviews, find the closest ATM or petrol station, use your phone’s camera or torch, share your internet connection, view your photos on a TV, book an Uber, or even share your real time location anywhere in the world with loved ones (great for taxi trips and driving to new locations!), this lesson is for you.
We will cover simple smartphone tips that integrate into everyday life to make you safer, get you places faster and just make life that little bit easier!
Please be aware that this is a larger group setting rather than a small-group workshop. There will, however, be plenty of time for questions.
Bookings are essential for this free event. Light refreshments will be available. You are encouraged to bring your own keep cup for tea/coffee or water.
Please let us know if you have any access requirements.
Please remember to cancel your booking via Humanitix or by contacting the library if you are unable to attend on the day. The place/s can then be released for someone else to enjoy.
