We're ready to kick-off the 23/24 Special Olympics Melbourne Inner East Cricket season - proudly hosted in partnership with the Edinburgh Cricket Club (ECC).

All NEW PARTCIPANTS are welcome to Come & Try for their first 2 sessions FOR FREE, before registration and payment.

If you decide to sign up after completing your two come & try sessions, registration fees are $130 for Term 4 2023 through Term 1 2024, which includes 15 sessions.

Special Olympics Melbourne Inner East Club

The Special Olympics Melbourne Inner East (MIE) club is based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and is run by volunteers. Operating for over 45 years, MIE was a founding club for establishing Special Olympics in Australia and currently has the largest membership nationally.

Special Olympics provides weekly grassroots sporting, recreational and social activities, and prepares athletes for competition pathways ranging from club events to regional, state and national games, culminating in the Special Olympics World Games. Our club runs year-round sports training, coaching and competition for over 200 registered athletes with intellectual disabilities, helping them to lead a full and rich life. The sporting opportunities delivered for our athletes, via dedicated volunteers, are athletics, basketball, bocce, bowling (tenpin), cricket, equestrian, football (soccer), golf, gymnastics, swimming, tennis and wintersports (alpine skiing and snowboarding).
