Kāpiti Youth Employment Foundation, commonly known as Work Ready Kāpiti (WRK) is an employer-driven charitable trust which was founded in 2018.

We are a charitable trust dedicated to supporting Kāpiti rangatahi aged 15 to 24 to be work ready, connected with employers and confident in the workplace.

Through our Work Experience Programme, Kāpiti Work Ready Passport, and #EmployerMeets, we help young people build skills, confidence, and real connections with supportive employers.

Our mission is to give young people the tools and networks they need to succeed, while encouraging local businesses to invest in the next generation.

By bridging the gap between education and employment, we’re building a pipeline of motivated local talent and strengthening Kāpiti’s future workforce.
