Facebook and Messenger
Event description
In this session you will learn all about the basics of Facebook and Messenger, including security tips to keep you safe online.
The workshop will cover how to:
Create a new account
Safely upload your photos
Add friends and family
Join a community group
Make video calls to anywhere in the world
Use Facebook Marketplace to buy and sell.
You will also learn about what happens to your data when you post online.
This is a great session for both new and experienced users.
Please be aware that this is a larger group setting rather than a small-group workshop. There will, however, be plenty of time for questions.
Bookings are essential for this free event. Light refreshments will be available. You are encouraged to bring your own keep cup for tea/coffee or water.
Please let us know if you have any access requirements.
Please remember to cancel your booking via Humanitix or by contacting the library if you are unable to attend on the day. The place/s can then be released for someone else to enjoy.
