    Event description

For nine years, the Marine Corps League, LCpl Jacob D. Hayes Detachment, has proudly shared this unique celebration with the Collin County community. The Marine Corps Birthday Ball is traditionally organized by Marine Corps units and reserved for the Marines and their guests. This special event is sometimes attended by statesmen and other special guests at certain locations like the "Commandant's Birthday Ball" in Washington D.C. State Department personnel and foreign dignitaries also attend the Marine Corps Birthday Balls hosted by the Marines at U.S. embassies worldwide. However, we are honored to open our doors to everyone, offering a chance to experience this rich tradition, steeped in history and ceremony.

Join us in celebrating the 249th birthday of the Marine Corps with an evening of elegance and camaraderie. Enjoy a cocktail hour, professional photography, commemorative keepsakes, a Marine-led ceremony, the freedom to choose your seating and dinner preferences, music, dancing, and an opportunity to support the Toys For Tots program.

More than just a gala, the Marine Corps Birthday Ball is a meaningful event that transcends celebration; it is a fundraiser with a mission. Your sponsorship will play a crucial role in supporting
