This year marks a historic milestone—the 250th Anniversary of the United States Marine Corps. To commemorate this occasion, the Marine Corps League, LCpl Jacob D. Hayes Detachment #1426, is proud to host the annual Marine Corps Birthday Ball on November 22, 2025, at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort. This will be an unforgettable evening of tradition, ceremony, camaraderie, and celebration—one you won’t want to miss.

The Premier Marine Corps Birthday Ball in Texas

The Collin County Marine Corps Birthday Ball has earned recognition as the premier Marine Corps Ball in Texas, likened to the prestigious Commandant’s Ball in Washington, D.C. This year, we are elevating the experience with special additions to make the event even more memorable.

A Celebration with Purpose

More than just a gala, the Collin County Marine Corps Birthday Ball is an opportunity to honor Marine Corps history and traditions while supporting a greater cause. Your sponsorship will directly contribute to our mission in North Texas, funding vital initiatives such as:

Veterans & Their Families – Providing essential assistance, fostering community, and distributing over $25,000 in financial aid in recent years.
Scholarship Program – Empowering future leaders with over $29,000 in scholarships for veterans, their children, and Junior ROTC cadets.
Toys for Tots – In 2024 alone, over 102,000 toys were collected, sorted, and distributed to less fortunate children through our community partners.
Veteran Initiatives – Supporting programs such as the Homeless Veterans Services of Dallas, Save The Brave, Woody Williams Foundation, One Tribe Foundation’s W.A.T.C.H. Program, and many more—contributing over $27,000 in donations.

Attire: This is a black-tie event. Civilians are encouraged to wear formal black-tie attire, while military members should don their branch's appropriate dress uniform. Marine Corps League members or members of other veteran organizations may wear the appropriate dress uniform of their organization.

Reception: 5:00 pm - 6:50 pm

- Toys For Tots Drop off: The Marine Corps Birthday Ball falls within the Toys for Tots season, and the Marine Corps League, LCpl Jacob D. Hayes Detachment, is the local coordinating organization for Toys for Tots within Collin County. We ask that each attendee bring a new, unwrapped toy to support the local Toys for Tots mission. We will have a convenient drop-off location during cocktail hour.

Started Salad: Baby Gem & Apple Salad frisee, red apples, parmesan, walnuts, honey-bourbon vinaigrette

Beef: Five Spice Braised Beef Short Rib, fingerling potatoes, Brussels sprouts, glazed carrots, horseradish pickled mushrooms

Fish: Pastrami Spiced Salmon. fingerling potatoes, Brussels sprouts, glazed carrots, beurre blanc sauce

Vegetarian/Vegan: Yukon Potato Gnocchi, heirloom cauliflower, piquillo peppers, mushrooms, butternut squash, unflower seed, romesco sauce

The Marine Corps League, LCpl Jacob D. Hayes Detachment, reserves the right to adjust seating based on the number of tickets sold or other special considerations. We will make every effort in such cases to keep attendees in the approximate location they selected and with the other guests they wish to sit with. Couples will always be kept together.

*We no longer send physical tickets. We will have a list at the door and seating charts posted at the event.

*Tickets are nonrefundable after 5:00 pm on Saturday, November 16th.

All ticket purchases are donations to the Marine Corps League and Tax deductible.
