We can hardly believe it… CM Dance is turning 25!
To celebrate this incredible milestone, we’re throwing a Birthday Bash packed with fun, laughter, memories and plenty of dancing, and we’d love for our entire community to celebrate with us.
Over the past 25 years, CM Dance has grown into so much more than just a dance studio. It’s been a place where friendships have formed, confidence has grown, tiny dancers have become teachers, and generations of families have shared in the joy of dance together.
This celebration is our way of saying thank you to every dancer, parent, teacher, volunteer and supporter who has been part of the journey.
Expect a relaxed, family-friendly afternoon/evening with entertainment, activities for all ages, music, food, dancing, special memories from over the years and a few surprises along the way.
Whether you danced with us 20 years ago, joined us this year, or simply love being part of our community, we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

- So… what actually is the CM Dance Birthday Bash?
Think less “formal function” and more giant community celebration.
We’re celebrating 25 years of CM Dance with a big party full of dancing, music, food, memories, activities, familiar faces and probably a few happy tears from long-time dance mums. - Who’s invited?
If CM Dance has been part of your life in any way, you’re invited!
Current dancers, past dancers, alumni, teachers, dance mums, dance dads, siblings, grandparents, tiny preschoolers, former tiny preschoolers who are now somehow adults… we’d love to celebrate with you.
- Is this just for current CM Dance families?
Definitely not.
Some of our favourite stories come from dancers who wore the costume, survived the concert quick changes, then disappeared into adulthood. We would LOVE to see familiar faces back again. - What can we expect at the event?
A bit of everything, honestly.
We’ll have entertainment, music, dancing, activities for the kids, food, memory moments from over the years and plenty of opportunities to catch up with people you haven’t seen in forever.
Basically… organised chaos with good vibes.
- Will there be dancing?
This feels like asking if water is wet.
Yes. There will absolutely be dancing.
Don't Dance?
Perfect. We still need enthusiastic clappers, snack eaters and people willing to embarrass themselves on the dance floor later in the night.
- What age is the event suitable for?
All ages.
Whether your child still calls every teacher “Miss Dance”, or you danced at CM Dance back when concert DVDs were still a thing… there’ll be something for everyone. - What should we wear?
Whatever feels fun.
Casual, party clothes, sparkles, denim, something you can dance in, there’s no strict dress code. Although if someone arrives in an old CM Dance concert shirt, we fully support that energy.
- Will there be food and drink?
Yes! Food and drinks will be available to purchase throughout the event from the bar and kitchen window.
Please note that outside food and drinks are not permitted.. A range of meal options are on offer for dietary requirements.
- Will tickets be available at the door?
Maybe… but we wouldn’t risk it.
Once numbers are reached, ticket sales may close.
