Conference Silver Jubilee Theme: "Discerning the Next 25 Years"
In the spirit of Georgetown's Jesuit tradition, our 2024 Conference Theme will be "Discerning the Next 25 Years.” Join us as we analyze how to best shape the future of the pro-life movement. Our speakers will be updated here, on our Instagram, and on our website in the coming weeks.
Our Keynote Speaker will be His Eminence Seán Patrick O’Malley, O.F.M. Cap. Cardinal O’Malley is the Archbishop of Boston, the President of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors, and a member of the Council of Cardinal Advisers.
Our Panelists will be Emily Geiger (Director of Education & Outreach at Equal Rights Institute), Margaret Hartshorn, Ph.D (Former President and now Chair of the Board of Heartbeat International), and Sr. Mariae Agnus Dei, SV, (Postulant Director for the Sisters of Life).
Our Breakout Speakers are listed on our website. They include Fr. Gregory Pine, O.P., Dr. Robert Fastiggi, Kathi Aultman, M.D., the Sisters of Life, and more.
Our Mass for Life Celebrant is Archbishop William E. Lori, the Vice-President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Supreme Chaplain of the Knights of Columbus.

We are the nation's largest, student-run, pro-life Conference, promoting intellectually rigorous discourse on the sanctity of human life, as well as building up a culture of life both within and beyond the Georgetown community. Georgetown students founded the Conference in 2000 and remain both the organizers and facilitators. Rooted in the Catholic tradition, the Conference is named in honor of His Eminence John Cardinal O’Connor, who principally committed himself to advocate for the defenseless and eloquently defend pro-life positions.

Lunch is included with your ticket. Please indicate any dietary requirements when you are prompted as you register.
Please note that photography and videography will take place at the Conference. Media from the Conference may be used in promotional photos and videos. By attending the Conference, you grant consent for photos and videos to be captured which may include you. If you notice a photo or video is taken which mainly features you and you would like for it to not be used, you may ask the person capturing the media to delete the relevant portion, or email us with a request to not have that image used for promotional purposes. We will make a good faith effort to fulfill such requests.
