Luke Rain: www.lukerainmusic.com
"Luke Rain makes cool, refreshing, bassy drops and brings the drip like a hip hop hippie. In both his DJ sets and his production Luke is able to bend and blend genres across the musical spectrum, flowing effortlessly between bass and hip hop, electronic and organic, left field and pop appeal. He finds himself equally at home at a festival, rave, renegade campout or ecstatic dance. A skilled professional DJ with years of experience behind the decks, Luke crafts unique, eclectic sets that allow dancers to flow, move energy and feel embodied. He plays from his extensive library of his favorite tracks across many musical styles, as well as songs he produced for heart centered musicians in the ecstatic community and his own growing catalog of originals, remixes and mash ups.
Luke Rain is a producer, DJ, performer and educator from Seattle, WA. Songs that he produced have totaled over 8 million Spotify streams, he has taught over 600 private producer and DJ lessons, and has released over 10hours of music to Spotify, both for his own artist projects and the music he’s produced and engineered for others. To date, Luke has released 16 songs on Equanimous’ High Vibe Records label, 4 on ill.Gates’ Producer Dojo label, and 2 on Willdabeast’s Grand Alliance label, plus many more independent releases.
As a DJ Luke is a fixture in the NW ecstatic dance scene, and has expanded into the Southwest and Rocky Mountain regions and Hawaii, with a goal of playing 100 DJ gigs in 2025." - Artist Bio
Living Roots:
Living Roots is a Livetronica duo that brings a healthy dose of musical medicine to
the stage. Travis plays with an array of flavors that feature worldly spices, sweet and
savory grooves, with crunchy beats that will nourish your soul and cleanse your
palate. With the addition of didgeridoo, drums and flutes, he blends together sounds
that are new and old, sacred and experimental, fiery and sultry. Logan brings a
beautiful and powerful voice to the equation, adding her own special flavor of soul,
gospel and medicine songs. With a background in Jazz and gospel choir, she has a
wide range of vocal magic, weaving her lyrics in harmony with the heart. The
combination of both of their vibes is a beautiful experience to witness. Every show
they play reflects the love they have for each other and the music, bringing the
crowd onto the spaceship with them. Time slows down and a doorway opens to
another dimension where listeners can bask in the wonder that is this existence.
They have been playing shows together since 2018, along the West Coast of the U.S.
Ghana, Morocco, South Africa, Egypt and Canada.

@ Fremont Abbey Arts Center
What’s ecstatic dance you ask? Good question.. it’s a growing and popular dance that is mostly free form and everyone is allowed/encouraged to be as weird or wonderful as they like. No alcohol. No shoes. Lots of heart opening, emotions/stress clearing, and more.
Some people partner dance, others just flow, some meditate and chill, and there is requested no talking on the dance floor (unless asking for consent to dance with someone). Socializing around the perimeter at this event is totally cool, especially at the cacao or elixir lounge.
Our friends at www.bloom.dance have more info about this and Consent practices at these type of dances. (Next Bloom is coming up Dec 20 @ Om Culture btw!)
