Refresher courses are available to people who have previously completed an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course, whether face‑to‑face, blended, or online.
These sessions help you stay up to date with the latest knowledge, skills, and best‑practice approaches in mental health first aid.

At the end of the course, participants can complete a short assessment to renew their MHFA Accreditation for a further 3 years.
Course Format
Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander MHFA Refresher (Online)
🕒 2 × 2.5‑hour videoconferencing sessions (same day)
👥 Open to current and accredited Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander MHFAiders
💲 Cost: $250+GST per person
Before Training
Participants must provide a copy of their Certificate of Accreditation to the Instructor prior to training.
You can download your certificate via your Mental Health First Aid Account.
You will also need to provide us the email address you originally used for your training to ensure your enrolment for the refresher course is processed correctly.
