Event description
The festival of Holi is a celebration of joy, the coming of spring, and the colors of life. It is celebrated through most parts of India through various customs, the most popular one being the community coming together to throw color powder on one another while dancing and eating festive foods!
Please join us for the 2nd Annual Downtown Holi Celebration at PS 150 on March 16, 2024. Community Event open for ALL!!
The event features Indian food (kid friendly options will be available), music and dance party, big variety of arts and crafts, performances by South Asian artists, and, of course, tons of color powder for a messy fun experience!
Indian Food at the event is sponsored by MOGHUL and is included in the price!
Be sure to wear clothes that can get messy (preferably white or a lighter color which will show off the vibrancy of the color powder!).
