Party, comp, and giving back all in one!

Ask the folks who joined us last year and they'll confirm the Joe's Valley Pump-A-Thon is an event like no other! It's an endurance bouldering competition, it's a beach party, it's a fundraiser, it's a stewardship day! All proceeds benefit your Joe's Valley Climbing & Community nonprofit efforts like ongoing Coalition work and youth programs. So come, support a good cause, push yourself to your limits (or just have fun in the sun), wear the coolest (or cheesiest) beach attire you can find, get swag, win prizes, partake in a trail day, and hang out with new and old friends! ALL levels and abilities welcome and encouraged!

Registration and Fees

$40 Adult Competitors | Let's go!

$30 Student Competitors | Over 12 years of age but still a student

$15 Youth Competitors | For youth 12 years of age and younger

$25 Local Competitors | Emery and Carbon County Residents

SATURDAY May 2

10:00 AM – 11:30 AM | Registration at New Joe’s Campground Parking
11:30 AM – 11:45 AM | Mandatory Kick-Off Meeting
12:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Climbing Competition at New Joe’s
5:00 PM – 6:30 PM | Drive to Town, Ensure Results Input

5:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Food Trucks, Music, Social at Castle Dale

6:00 PM – 6:40 PM | Post-climb Reset with Lily from Axis Movement

7:00 PM | Awards and Raffle Drawings
Until 10:00 PM | Bonfire and Music

SUNDAY May 3

9:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Meet at New Joe's parking lot for a Trail Day overview.
9:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Trail Maintenance and FUN! Please wear closed toed shoes and bring gloves if you have them. All trail equipment is provided. We'll be doing erosion prevention at Area 51 and Pocket Rocket.

Competition Format:

Climb as MANY boulder problems as you can within the competition timeframe. We'll have gender (Male, Female, and Non-binary) categories, age (Adult and Youth) and climbing-level specific categories. It's time to get pumped!
