Sophie Edwards is a talented Canberran artist who has had a profound influence on the Pop and Indie Pop music scenes pushing boundaries and making music that is both aesthetically pleasing and artistically gratifying.
Her music fuses the catchy melodies of mainstream Pop with the reflective and genuine elements of Indie Pop creating a unique sound that sets her apart from other artists of her generation. Her songs have a nostalgic quality to them, but they also have a modern, cutting edge. Whether Sophie is writing about themes of love, heartbreak, or self-discovery, her songs are open and sensitive, making it possible for listeners to identify with her.

Arriving in Australia at the age of 10 from France, the 26 year old Canberra rapper has grown into Australian hip-hop, picking up a passion for rapping, beat-making and releasing freestyles with old school hip-hop vibes. Influenced by 90’s legends such as Nas, Rakim and The Notorious B.I.G., as well as game changing Producers such as Dr. Dre and Kanye West , the young rapper/producer continues to master his craft over a raw old school boom-bap sound while perfecting his production skills. Throughout the years, MN Cappo has shared the stage with acts such as Tony Rich, Terror Reid, Lisi, Kobie Dee, Timomatic, Chillinit, The Ansah Brothers (Citizen Kay & Genesis Owusu), Tasman Keith, Mitchos Da Menace and much more, including performing 4 shows at the Sydney Opera House in 2022. MN Cappo is all about putting on a good performance while having a good time on the mic.

ZUKO like to re-imagine pop music and provide the soundtrack to a dance party for the jaded.

Genres don't matter. Drunk, anthemic choruses are a must.

Roshan takes care of the vocals and production duties while Jackson provides the sticky guitar hooks and much needed moral support.

Exploring select elements of pop-so-far, ZUKO. are constantly evolving their sound and are just starting to hit their stride

Raio De Sol is Canberra’s community samba drumming band, bringing the Brazilian rhythms of samba to the ACT.  The band was born in October 2013 and is open to anyone to join regardless of musical ability or previous experience, attracting people from across the world.  Raio De Sol have played everything from small scale gigs at local ACT Live Music venues to performing in the Sydney Mardi Gras parade and in Samba Encontro’s with fellow samba baterias in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.

Napoleon Ice Cream are four misfits who met in a line for Mr Whippy. Coming together to mix flavours and sounds, they've got an insatiable itch to make catchy tunes that you won't be able to get out of your head. Warning: their unique mix of indie-post-pop may give you brain freeze.  With funny, insightful exciting songs, screw convention when you can have dessert first!

Rental Snake is an Australian Indie Rock band hailing from the Nation’s capital. Influenced by Punk, Grunge & Alternative Rock the trio creates songs perfect for jumping into a sweaty mosh pit. Formed in a shed in 2021, 2023 has seen them release their newest single ‘The Edge', which is currently trending as one of the Top 10 songs of 2023 for French Radion Station RKC.
