35mm photo walk and eco film processing using brewery waste
Event description
Join The Darkroom Social for a photo walk and eco film processing workshop on Saturday 2nd November from 10:30am-2pm. We will meet at Chuck and Sons Brewing before embarking on a photo walk around St Peters, photographing the details and architecture of the local area and dropping in to visit a couple of local studios. Each participant will shoot a roll of 35mm black and white Ilford HP5+ film (provided on the day). We will then return to Chuck and Sons to process the film in a unique eco developer made from the waste products of the beer brewing process. After a short break for lunch we will scan the film and each participant will be sent a link to download their photos.
This workshop is for people who have their own 35mm film cameras and are comfortable shooting film - no prior experience or knowledge of film processing is necessary! Please bring your own camera to use on the day during the workshop.
This workshop is running as part of the Inner West Council Creative Trails Midjuburi.
