What is 3MT?

The Asian Pacific Three-minute thesis (3MT) competition is hosted annually by University of Queensland and held in over 900 universities across more than 85 countries worldwide.

Each year thousands of PhD candidates from across the world, including from our own Charles Sturt University, come together to explain to a non-expert audience in plain language the premise of their research in just three minutes with one PowerPoint slide!

You are invited to join Charles Sturt University research candidates as they explain an 80,000 - word thesis in just 180 seconds.

Judged by a panel of experts, the winner will progress to Asia Pacific final in October.
