Description

We are proud to continuing the tradition with the 3rd Annual Big Sky Summer Shootout. From the mountains and rivers to events, happenings and everything in between. If it's part of Big Sky life then it's part of The Shootout. Please join us on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at The Big Sky Waypoint.

Tickets include festival admission to view select film/photo submissions, a chance to vote for the Live People's Choice Awards, Second Season Pass raffle, get your picture taken on the Shred Carpet presented by Katie Morrison BHHS and a chance to win Best Dressed Award and $100 cash, and more.

Showings: 6PM & 8PM

Shootout Awards Ceremony 9:30PM

Second Season's mission is to cultivate community and mountain culture through education, outreach, and onboarding.

We are an education based platform designed to offer users a free series of inclusive experiential learning in safe/fun environments to raise awareness and develop an embodied practice of mountain life skills.

This platform is funded and made possible by Second Season events, programs and products such as the The Big Sky Shootout Film & Photo Festivals, the PASS IT ON program, Second Season soft goods, and more. We are completely self sustainable and beholden only to the community and culture that created us.
