AVPLBO - 3rd Annual Vic Park Lasagna Bake Off
Event description
After two years of sell-out events AVPLBO returns in 2023!
Eaters: Get ready for a delicious afternoon with the People’s Choice Award in your hands (eating starts at 12:30pm).
Entrants: Get ready for fierce (albeit very friendly) competition and the gratitude of all attending as we get to taste your delicious creations (arrive between 12:00-12:30pm - awards at 2pm). Further details on the judging criteria will be provided via email.
There are three judged categories:
Meat Lasagne
Home cooks who live or work in the Town of Vic Park who think they have what it takes to be crowned as Vic Park's Best Traditional Lasagne maker are asked to bring their baked goody of no less than 20x30cm to our event and be tested by the expert panel.
Vegetarian Lasagne
We love the rising trend of meat-free lasagne. For this category, no meat products, including stocks and gelatines, are to be used. Your lasagne must be 20x30cm minimum and super delicious if you want to be crowned the best.
The People's Choice Award
Here's the fun bit - Spectators can pay the low price of $10 to eat, and each person will get one vote for the People's Choice Award. (We’ll cut all lasagnes into pieces no smaller than 3x3cm, so the more lasagne you bring, the more people who can taste it!)
Individuals will be showered with praise if they bring a salad to go with the feast.
