Event description

Join us for this event in Winnipeg as we observe 40 years since the genocide against Sikhs in November of 1984.

This event will also provide an opportunity to reflect on 40 years of the WSO. Through advocacy, community programming, youth development, and issues management, the WSO has been in service of Sikhs in Canada.

We will also be joined by a special guest speaker, Emmy award-winning journalist and documentary filmmaker Angad Singh! Angad Singh has covered many topics including the COVID pandemic and farmers' protests in India, getting expelled from India for his critical reporting of the government. We are excited to have him share his experiences and expertise with the community.
