THEA 451: Advanced Directing students cut their teeth on a selection of scenes from Geary’s landmark play, about new third-former Howard’s attempts to negotiate life at Boys’ High School and his hero-worshipping fantasies about New Zealand athlete Jack Lovelock, who won the 1,500m at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
