Tribute to the Reggae Legends, also known as Bob Marley Day honors the rich legacy of reggae music. Founded by Prophet World Beat Productions in honor of Bob Marley’s legacy.
Reggae music carries a powerful message of unity, peace, and awareness of social inequities. The WorldBeat Center remains dedicated to preserving the legacy and message of reggae legends like Bob Marley and Peter Tosh.

Starting January 5, 2026, Balboa Park has implemented a paid parking system. Daily parking rates vary by lot and proximity to park attractions, and hourly metered parking is also enforced from 8 am to 8 pm. Prices vary between $5-$10 for a full day. Verified City of San Diego residents can register online in advance to receive discounted parking rates. The Upper and Lower Inspiration Point parking lots are great options for event parking — Lower Inspiration Point even offers the first few hours free before daily fees apply.
