48 Hour Laugh-A-Thon: Team Show featuring New News News Crew, Evilprov, and Vocal Fried

For this special weekend event, we are featuring the best improv comedy Dallas has to offer with our Teams Shows! Each show will feature three different teams doing an array of long-form improvisational stylings topped off with musical improv. You better grab some coffee and head to the 9 am show because otherwise you'll miss New News News Crew, Evilprov, and Vocal Fried!

The New News News Crew, here to bring the news to you! The News Crew will perform an entirely improvised newscast based on audience suggestions. Their expert team of reporters will cover the most important topics affecting their viewers, such as the ruffians kicking over sandcastles at the beach, the protest in front of the Chili’s on Main Street, and the latest on Cindy getting back together with her ex David. They are committed to providing the professionalism and journalistic integrity (and hopefully laughter) that every citizen wants. The New News News Crew features Ian Jungmann, Iannë Warshawsky, Jaydon Graeme, Joel Jenkins, Josh Reus, Melanie Robinson, Nan Kirkpatrick, and Stephanie Bell.

EvilProv, the show where everything's made up and your soul is forfeit. A cast of demonic performers, led by host Ashen Graves, brings you improv games direct from the underworld. From Prisoner's Dilemma to Beak-a-Wish Foundation, it's improv like you've never seen it before. Cast: Alida Liberman, Andy Missel, Coral Davis, Dustin Dykes, Joshua Franklin, Justin Wayne, Kaylyn Wold, Kelly Kaufman, Lin Woodson, Peyton Reed, and Winter Bishop.

Stomping Ground’s newest musical house team, Vocal Fried, presents Once Upon a Tune: an improvised musical narrative with dynamic characters and catchy musical numbers, all inspired by your suggestions. Vocal Fried features Will Holston, Kelly Kaufman, Raymund King, Nan Kirkpatrick, Kimber Martin, Andy Missel, Wes Phillips, Tristen Rouse, and David Zhu. Coached by Kelsey Eigsti and Musical Direction by Anthony Nagid.

Stomping Ground's 48 Hour Laugh-A-Thon is an exciting, nonstop comedy marathon showcasing talented improvisers and guest performers and supporting our mission to educate, entertain, and empower the community – connecting people through comedy. The 2025 Core Performers appearing in all shows are Greg Mihalik, Shenelle Peart, Melanie Robinson, Milo Michelle Wilder, Ianne Warshawsky, Josh Reus, Nathaniel Weathersby, Lynsey Hale, Whitney Peters, John Gerhardt, and musical accompanist Josh Diamond.
