4A Kids Workshop: Ink Painting with Cindy Yuen-Zhe Chen

This Lunar New Year, look inwards and explore your personal landscapes with artist Cindy Yuen-Zhe Chen in 4A Kids: Ink Painting with Cindy Yuen-Zhe Chen. In this bespoke workshop series, the artist will guide kids through simple ink painting techniques they can try at home. Explore your own stories and peaceful flow with Cindy this summer.
Suitable for children aged 5+. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
This 4A Kids activity was developed as part of 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art’s Lunar New Year 2022 exhibition program, Cindy Yuen-Zhe Chen: Spaces to Stir. The 4A Kids Lunar New Year program is commissioned by 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art and presented in partnership with the Australian National Maritime Museum.
Dates:
The workshops will be taking place on February 19, from 10:30am - 12pm and 1:30pm - 3pm.
This event is free, preregister to secure a spot.

4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art and the Australian National Maritime Museum are committed to protecting the health and safety of our audience and staff by minimising the spread of COVID-19.
Please note, the 4A Kids: Ink Painting with Cindy Yuen-Zhe Chen workshops only allow limited numbers of bookings. All participants over the age of 16 in the workshops must have received 2 doses of an authorised COVID-19 vaccine. Participants will be required to wear a face mask at all times. Please bring your own mask, otherwise we will supply you with a mask upon entry. Please check in to the Maritime Museum via the QR code on site.
Between bookings, staff will reset the workshop space and sanitise contact surfaces and equipment. We thank you for your patience and understanding while we prepare the workshop space between bookings and ensure it is as safe as possible for all participants and staff.
If you have been a COVID-19 close contact or you are feeling unwell, please self-isolate and seek testing immediately as per current NSW Health advice, and do not visit Ink Painting with Cindy Yuen-Zhe Chen workshops. We will continue to monitor the advice of NSW Health and update our guidance as appropriate.
