In this series, Study Melbourne Leadership Labs 4Impact, you will have the opportunity to co-create a team of motivated students all studying in Melbourne and work together to create an innovative solution to a real-world problem. You will learn from a range of amazing facilitators, panellists and guest speakers who will challenge you to turn ideas into results with $5,000 of prizes up for grabs!

You will have the opportunity to work towards 1 of 3 chosen United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including:

Education (UNSDG 4)

• Focus: Ensure inclusive and quality education (in any/all areas).

Equality (UNSDG 5)

• Focus: Gender equality and empowerment (for any/all genders).

Environment (UNSDG 12)

• Focus: Sustainable production and consumption (for any product/service).

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Is there a cost? No. It is free for students thanks to Study Melbourne.

Will you receive a certificate? YES!

Can you invite your friends? YES!

Do I need a team to join? No. You will create a team as part of the project.

If I have a team, can we join together? YES! Just sit together at the launch.

Who will judge the projects? An expert panel (pictured below) will judge your final project and decide who receives the $3000 grand prize, as well as 2x $1000 runner up prizes (redeemable in gift vouchers and/or ongoing coaching for the team).

Will I be supported? YES! Every team receives mentorship from an expert in the field of their UN-SDG.

Will this count towards my university/TAFE/College 'leadership award'? Very likely! Just contact your leadership coordinator and inform them of your involvement. Please refer them to josh@campusconsultancy.org if they have any questions and if they need more information to confirm/deny if your involvement will count towards your official leadership award.
