Event description

Are you ready to celebrate your 4th of July weekend in a new way? How about a Ceremonial Celebration to liberate our sense of independence while deepening our understanding of our interdependence with one another? Would you like to escape the crowded beaches and cities and nestle up in nature with yourself and like minded community?

Join Jacob Patrick Ellis & Nicholas Thales Giordano from Friday June 30 until Tuesday July 4th for a weekend campout on the sacred grounds of Stonehedge Gardens a beautiful, landscaped sanctuary with walking trails, ponds, perennial gardens and other demonstration gardens with both native and exotic plants, located just outside of the Poconos in Tamaqua, Pa!

The intention of this weekend retreat is to recognize the importance of having an intimate relationship with yourSelf so that we can better cooperate with others on a deeper, more effective level. Our focus is to uncover a new meaning around independence while discovering what is of mutual significance in today’s evolving world...interdependence. We will explore the theme of independence through grounding practices like Kriya Yoga, Meditation, Prayer, and Sound Healing to develop a sense of inner silence. To balance it out we will also be guiding you through playful practices like ecstatic dance, cooperative games and group exercises to explore our interdependence with one another! Also we Can’t forget to mention nightly bonfires with special guests to share acoustic music, fire spinning and storytelling!

Our motivation for putting this event together is to locate a new level of Inner & Outer Freedom- Inner freedom being the ability to be undisturbed by outside circumstances and be open to receiving intuitive and imaginative guidance & Outer freedom being the ability to be fully self expressed as a way of liberating oneself from fear while recognizing the significance of working together for a common goal.

Meet The Facilitators:

Jacob and Nicholas have been lifelong friends since 1st grade and began teaching Yoga together for 8 years. They are equally passionate and dedicated to sharing the profound practices that have birthed an enthusiasm and inspiration for life wherever they go!

Jacob- Founder of Solutions For Evolution & Founding Member of Dance Medicine Philly, spends his time going back and forth between the concrete jungle of Philadelphia and the wild jungle of Costa Rica where he works with children, teens and adults while sharing the Solutions For Evolution philosophy. His classes are filled with enthusiasm and always incorporate a thoughtful spiritual theme that is weaved together into his fluid style of vinyasa that combines Asana, Qi Gong, Dance elements & Breathwork. You can be sure to walk away from a class feeling inspired with a liberated sense of your inner child!

Nicholas- a deeply devoted Yogi, with a special passion for Kundalini yoga and meditation. Originally a Philly native currently living in Ashland, Oregon. He is a gifted healer, and an emissary for the reawakening of Unity Consciousness within the collective. His work and offerings are always held with the utmost reverence and devotion to the divine presence that dwells within all. You will float out of class feeling both invigorated and stimulated yet grounded and present to the miracle of life.

Both Jacob and Nicholas have dedicated the last 10 years to understanding their own Mind/Body/Energy connection and strive to share their personal insights and experiences into their workshops. Together they strike a unique balance between Stillness & Movement, Sacred & Silly, Yin & Yang and are eager to share their passion and purpose with you in this playground of a planet!

Food:

Our Chef Aaron (Mango) will be serving yummy fulfilling vegetarian dishes. All Meals will be provided which includes Friday Night Dinner, Saturday & Sunday Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner and Monday Brunch.

Camping/Lodging:

This is a "Camp Out" specifically curated to keep you as close to nature as possible! Pick between one of the 5 ponds or fresh running stream to tent or hammock up besides. Camper Vans are welcome too! If camping would keep you come from coming, please message us and we can provide you local lodging :)

Pricing:

The pricing of this event will work on a sliding scale from $222-$444 & includes your food, camping and all workshops! We chose to price this way because we want to be able to accommodate the variety of participants' ability to pay in these challenging times. With that said our suggested donation is $333 yet if you can't anticipate paying that, we hope that folks able to pay the full ticket price of $444 would essentially be helping those who may not be able to afford it at this time.

We are seeking participants who can attend the full retreat from June 30th- July 3rd but if you are a Heavens Yes and can not be there for the full experience - exceptions can be made for day passes please text Jacob Ellis @ 267-770-2655.
